the waterfront was near. it was very peaceful.
the room was dated. the evening meal was nice but i had to ask for serviette. not everyone enjoys sharing their dining with dogs. staff did not wash their hands after petting dogs then touching dining plates. this is a health issue.

I found manager John to be cute and informative, offering insights into the hotel's history and local attractions. The staff in the restaurant, bar, and breakfast room were pleasant and attentive. The breakfast was great, with a great selection of quality items. Evening meals were very nice, and the bed in my room offered comfort with fluffy towels and a great shower.

The hotel enjoys a lovely quiet location, ideal for a relaxing weekend away from the rat race of life. The setting is fine with beautiful scenery. It is right next to the water with access to public transport. I think the location is amazing

the church bells chime every 15 minutes. it goes on 24 hours a day. this was awful for a light sleeper.

Acceptable Stay, but Not Without Issues
broken shower headinexperienced staff
The bathroom wasn't great. The shower head was broken, and some of the tiles looked loose. the dinner wasn't what I expected. My main course included potatoes that were black. I complained, but nothing happened. The staff was very young and seemed inexperienced.
