we returned feeling refreshed after our time here it reminded me of stepping back in time with modern comforts the grounds held many paths for exploration a gentle breeze carried the scent of flowers the rooms were a peaceful sanctuary i appreciated the care taken with the decor. the staff ensured every need was met discreetly and efficiently there was always a smile or a kind word to greet us i found it so easy to relax there.
i did notice that one of the window latches in the room was a little loose however it did not affect the seal of the window.

i stayed in a beautiful double room (it felt quite spacious). the room included high-quality toiletries and a well-stocked tea and coffee tray. the breakfast was great with a wide choice of wines, spirits, beers, and soft drinks available.

Great Experience in a Classic Setting

The location was amazing. Staff were helpful and friendly. I enjoyed a large, well-equipped room. A Great shower added to the experience. It was exactly what I needed after a long day. I liked the library and drawing room. They added to the relaxing atmosphere. I took a walk around the island next door. The views were beautiful.

the building is gorgeous and felt magical, especially the decorations still in place around christmas. i remember the staff being helpful , with attentive service in the bar. to my surprise, there was chocolates brought up to our room for my birthday, a sweet gesture i will never forget.

this stay missed the mark. there was a noticeable musty smell in the classic double room i booked. the bathroom felt outdated, and the shower had low water pressure. the breakfast was not great i expected, with limited choices and lukewarm food.
