adequate hotel experience

restaurant teamlovely locationsuper clean roombusy car parklimp breakfast
the restaurant staff seemed great. the location is lovely, offering fantastic views. the hotel kept the room super clean and paid close attention to detail.
lots of older people were struggling with bags up the stairs. the car park seemed very busy, since the general public also uses the swimming pool for lessons. breakfast felt a bit limp. The cold buffet had only packets and cheap versions of things.

a mixed experience at the hotel

slow check-inpoor water pressure
i felt the service was somewhat lacking. the check-in process was slow (i waited about 20 minutes). the water pressure in the room was very weak, and it took a long time for the water to heat up. i also tried calling reception a couple of times, but no one answered.

Decent location. Some downsides

cramped roomthin walls
The room felt cramped even though i booked a beautiful double room. the bathroom lacked proper ventilation. A musty smell lingered. the walls seemed thin. I could hear conversations in adjacent rooms and noise from the hallway! the experience didn't quite match the price point, i feel.

the food was very good. locally sourced food was a nice touch. the staff were very helpful and friendly it seems. the rooms were lovely with super king size bed too.
the bedroom layout was not very useful. no drawer storage was there and the wardrobe storage was lacking too. i ended up living out of my suitcase sadly. there were no details regarding hotel amenities.
