good selectioncomfortable room
The breakfast included a good selection of items on the full breakfast menu. The Mews room was comfortable and a good size during my short break between Christmas and New Year.
The route to my room in the main house proved slightly tortuous.

Acceptable Stay with Disappointing Room and Service Issues

friendly staffgruff employeeunpleasant breakfast
The hotel ambiance and friendly staff made a decent first impression.
The man at reception looked totally disinterested at our arrival and my children notice that he wasn't nice. Breakfast service was unpleasant with a gruff employee in a grubby t-shirt. Breakfast itself included the worst fry-up I ever had and an egg roll that resembled a hockey puck.
