Charming Stay!

bright breakfast room excellent staff polite staff
The breakfast room was lovely and bright. Breakfast itself was very good, even though the poached eggs were a bit overdone! All the waiting staff were excellent. So attentive and polite.
I got badly food poisoned. Needed professional care.

Some Issues During My Stay

wasps nest sanitary waste
I was a bit disappointed. There was a wasps nest near the patio, and during breakfast, several wasps buzzed around inside. The server did not offer to move our seats. in the ladies' toilet, one of the lights was out, and the bin smelled terribly of old sanitary waste. It really needs disinfectant!!!

Acceptable Stay with Minor Issues

breakfast service wide choice hotel grounds cold room heating absence corridor noise
The breakfast was served to the table, a feature I found to be classy. There was a wide choice available. I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon with scrambled egg. The grounds surrounding the hotel were lovely and enhanced my experience.
The room was quite cold upon arrival. It seemed the heating had not been turned on beforehand. Other guests created some noise in the corridors at a late hour, made sleeping difficult..

excellent stay

friendly staff well kept grounds
I found the staff quite friendly and efficient. luggage service to my first floor room was provided. the hotel grounds seemed well-kept. i appreciated the food preparation and quality. The presentation included dinner tables set with linen cloths.
the corridors outside my room were noisy late at night, this disrupted my sleep. i think it would be good to remind guests to be considerate and keep noise levels down in the hotel corridors.
