adequate stay but some issues noted
dated roomwasp infestation
the room was quite dated i found wrinkled carpets i also saw water damage on the bedside tables. the tea and coffee supplies were lacking with only one coffee and one biscuit available. breakfast proved disappointing the food was dry and not enjoyable for me. the worst aspect was a wasp infestation in the room i reported dead wasps but then i was stung during the night

The room was spacious. It had a very comfortable superking bed with nice bedding. I enjoyed the relaxing hot tub in the spa. The two-course meal was served by Liam, who was both friendly and efficient. Food portions were generous. I found the food delicious.
Shower pressure in the en suite was quite low!

the room was large (a welcome surprise). the breakfast was acceptable.
The shower did not work properly. i notified reception, but they seemed indifferent and offered no help. also, the wi-fi was terrible. It barely connected, if at all. (i swear, i've had better internet in a cave.)

the room was immaculate, a beautiful double or twin room. the bar was well equipped. i found the staff friendly, polite and helpful. breakfast was served quickly.
the grounds are nice. but the wooden areas in the sauna and steamroom look worn. the windows and sills were also very dirty, not ideal.

the staff was very nice. they took the time to explain what was available. they allowed me to look at the menu, as i have specific dietary requirements. i enjoyed my stay here.
the spa is dated and in need of an update. food and drink prices were expensive. the room i paid for was open to outside noise. i was awoken by noise from outside before 8:00 am.
