a mixed experience
broken door insecure room
the location was close to some nature walks, acceptable.
The door to my room was broken. I didn't need a key card, as i just yanked it open. this seemed insecure. the key card also didn't work, so i needed a manager to provide another card.

comfortable bed ample parking amazing food
the room had good facilities, including a comfortable bed. the pub food was amazing!!! there was also plenty of parking available near the hotel.
i found that the absence of a receptionist at the accommodation required me to interrupt a busy waiter for check-in.

helpful staff convenient location fair room rate broken door insecure feeling inconvenient keycard
the staff were helpful. i found the location to be very convenient. the room rate was fair for what i received and i thought the food prices were acceptable.
i encountered an issue with the door to the rooms. it seemed broken, requiring me to yank it open instead of using a key card, it felt less secure. the keycard for the room itself also initially failed to work, requiring multiple attempts and a replacement from a manager. i found this quite inconvenient.

adequate stay
tidy room reasonable value small tv awkward space
the room was clean and tidy, i thought. the food was good, and the value for money was reasonable too.
The tv was very small. I noticed that immediately. there was hardly any space next to one side of the bed. It made getting in and out awkward.
