a satisfactory stay

breakfast selection attentive staff faulty air conditioning poor meal

the breakfast selections offered a good start to each day. i liked the full scottish breakfast items. the staff i encountered were attentive, always ready to assist with a smile.

the air conditioning was not working on the second floor. my room reminded me of an oven, and it was almost unbearable. one evening, i ordered a bar meal, but it tasted like a ready meal from the store.

The room was large and bright with expansive windows. I found the bed quite comfortable. Breakfast offered plenty of options and available seating even during peak hours. Free parking was a great perk, and I enjoyed the hotel's pool. I found the reception staff both helpful and cute.

The room was very clean with a spacious layout that accommodated an extra bed for my daughter. The bathroom was big and included both a bathtub and a separate shower. It was very functional. I liked how much space we had.

The pool area was super clean, and the sauna and steam room both maintained good temperatures? I saw that the gym featured two sections. One for cardio and the other for strength training. I loved the pool. but the sauna was better!

my room felt really big. the windows were big to. i enjoyed the pool, and it helped that parking was free. the staff at reception were all kind.

i notice little wear in some areas, such as minor scuffs on the furniture.

the gym had two separate areas, one for strength training and one for cardio, which i think is very helpful. the swimming pool had a good size for a refreshing dip and relaxation with some lounge chairs available.

superb visit!

smooth check-in well-equipped room excellent facilities awesome haggis

I was greeted warmly upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth. my room was well-equipped with a fridge and complimentary goodies, this was a lovely surprise! the on-site leisure center had excellent facilities, i really enjoyed the pool and the sauna, it was spotlessly clean and sufficiently hot. the breakfast selection had many options and the haggis was awesome. I'm so happy i got to try it!

My room was spacious and very clean. I particularly loved the fridge that was stocked with goodies! the bathroom included a bath, i enjoyed this feature and found it relaxing after a busy day. the bed was comfortable and i slept well.

The check-in process was efficient. The staff member, bronwyn, offered detailed information about the leisure center! breakfast staff members, kira and gemma, were both friendly and very helpful. staff was readily available and always willing to assist with any requests.

poor room limescale kettle

i feel let down considering this was a holiday inn. the room looked quite poor. i stayed in other ihg hotels recently and received much better value. breakfast also disappointed me because it was not included and pastries disappeared quickly. the kettle had limescale at the bottom, a thing that really bothered me.

the staff were quite helpful. they changed our room to accommodate a request for two single beds. the breakfast was very good with many options.
