The room was a good size. The bedding and towels felt very clean. I found the breakfast buffet had a wide selection of food. The lovely gardens behind the hotel had pheasants visiting near the window.
The shower had weak water pressure. It was hard to rinse conditioner from my hair.

a gem of a hotel
terrine surprisebeef bladeboiler room
the romantic meal was packaged with care and taste. the chicken tikka terrine impressed me, and the feather blade of beef melted in my mouth. the young waiting staff were efficient, specially jack, offering great service.
i was awoken at 6am due to the boiler room next to my ground floor room. this disturbance slightly affected my overall sleep quality.

the hotel sits 35 minutes from edinburgh, scotland. It offers nice surroundings but is slightly outside town. Parks are near the hotel, and are good for families.

the room included a comfortable bed with clean sheets. useful amenities were available, including a hairdryer and ironing board. a kettle with tea and coffee was also present in the room.

burnt haggisexcessive prices
the food quality was noticeably lacking. my starter was overly burnt and nearly inedible. furthermore the drinks prices were excessive for what was received. we were also disturbed by noise from an adjacent room late at night.
