the room had floor to ceiling patio doors to a balcony. i found loads of tea and coffee along with biscuits in the room. curtains kept the room dark enough for sleeping.

the lodge was right beside the lake and it was super clean. breakfast was really good, a perfect start to the day. the grounds had views , made me never want to leave. staff were so friendly and helpful.

the bed, while adorned with lovely towels, wasn't very comfortable.

the location is idealic with a rural, quiet setting. the view of the lake is fantastic. it is a very pretty spot, ideal for a romantic stay and appreciation of nature.

My husband and i got married here on 2024-03-16. It was Very nice. The staff worked tirelessly all day. They made our day the most amazing day. The food, from the canapés to the wedding breakfast, was delicious. Many of our guests commented the same. The portions were plentiful. I hope future couples read this review.

On its website it claims to have some of the finest lodge accommodation. the person answering at reception told me that the nearest rail station was cardiff central, the room was very cold with inadequate blankets, and there was no hairdryer in the room.
