breakfast service proved rather slow the first morning toast arrived quite a while before the rest i found this unacceptable a longer wait than i anticipated i also discovered the room lacked sufficient light. it had only a small window and it was difficult to read comfortably the dark decor did not help this matter

The bar was quite crowded. It had many day guests. There was little space for hotel guests. Breakfast also disappointed me. There was no self-service area. The staff served everything to the table. I found this experience lacking for a four-star hotel.

The grounds were scenic with a walled garden. Breakfast was good (the selection of pastries was a standout). One of the bar staff members was very friendly. The drawing room featured live piano music creating a pleasant atmosphere.

The room cleaning was missed on my last day. I found wet towels and no toiletries. There was also no water or new glasses in the room, which I needed. (I found this quite inconvenient.)
