a tender seaside memory

sea viewkind staffsoft bedthin walls
the view from our double or twin room sea view was like a painting, all soft blues and greens. each morning, the sea whispered gentle secrets as we woke. the staff were so kind, they left us a little treat of chocolates one evening. the bed was so soft, it was like sleeping on clouds.
the walls seemed quite thin i could hear conversations next door. this made it a bit difficult to fully unwind at times.

fionnuala provided a lovely facial treatment at the spa , and i HIGHLY recommend her. she was professional and such a lovely lady. i felt very relaxed and refreshed after my treatment.
our sea view room did not have a fridge , which was inconvenient. also , i received dirty cutlery in the edge restaurant. the server apologized , but it still concerned me about hygiene. the pool area could use a good deep cleaning.

i stayed for a short break. the breakfast selection was plentiful and hot. i really enjoyed the window table overlooking the water. the receptionist was friendly and efficient during check-in.
My room had a view of trees. I wanted a sea view. It was disappointing. the wine and chocolates i requested for my birthday were late and was like an afterthought. the presentation lacked care.

Excellent Spa and Relaxation Experience

really good therapistpost-treatment mealcomfortable bedkey card
The spa visit included massages, a mud bath, and access to the pool. Eva, the massage therapist, was really good and possessed thorough muscle knowledge. I enjoyed a post-treatment meal and the food was amazing. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The TV was also easy to use.
My key card timed out on both Saturday and Sunday evenings. I had to return to reception for replacements. No apology was offered.
