The breakfast was extensive and offered many choices. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with modern amenities. The well maintained grounds included an indoor pool that was a nice addition to the facilities. The steam room took just ten minutes to start, and the sauna needed an hour to reach maximum heat.
The concierge provided limited assistance even with simple requests such as recommending a good restaurant. It made it a little challenging to explore dining options without reliable local recommendations.

the breakfast had quite a selection. it should offer something for everyone.
i was disappointed that the parasols by the pool were tatty. some were even broken, i think they need to be replaced. room service now incurs a £15 delivery fee and our trays weren't collected. they were left in the corridor overnight.

the staff here is super awesome, really helpful! plus, the building is like, seriously gorgeous. breakfast was delicious and i found the most amazing spots for sipping drinks and watching the sun dip low.
the air conditioning struggled during the day. the rooms were baking hot! the air con was underpowered and it failed to cool the room adequately, it got way too uncomfortable during the afternoons.

i enjoyed the warm welcome from the staff and the seamless blend of modern design with the palace's historical elements. breakfast offered a fresh selection with a nespresso machine and freshly squeezed orange juice. the hotel's location allowed easy access to explore the algarve region which i found convenient.
the pool cafe had limited hours and a very basic menu this was a bit disappointing. the parasols by the pool were also worn and could use replacing.

The hotel's modern wing had a great design. The breakfast offered a large selection of food. I especially liked the pool and sauna. Both were clean and relaxing. The massage was fantastic. Inês has golden hands!
I found it slightly annoying that the hotel charged extra for basic water in the room.

I found ants in the room, and despite not eating there, it seemed to be an ongoing issue. A proper hoovering of the wardrobe area would have helped.
