The location was convenient for attending a wedding and exploring the grounds. the room was easily accessible and had private parking. breakfast was provided at a nearby inn. i chose the breakfast box delivered to the room. It was quite convenient. the venue was beautiful and the staff was excellent. i also appreciated the complimentary beverages and treats in the room.

the barman on the second night seemed a bit officious. this did not significantly impact my stay though.

Breakfast arrived directly to the garden room. I found it to be excellent value. there was plenty of choice available and the food quality was very high. i especially enjoyed the fresh ingredients.

I stayed in the gianella room. it was fine and had a great atmosphere. breakfast was excellent. It offered lots of choices. lucy, the wedding coordinator, was particularly excellent. she was the bride's wedding organiser and was super.

i noticed a few staff members seemed like they'd rather be elsewhere. this attitude contrasted sharply with the friendliness of the others. i believe this could have improved the overall experience, though! it was nothing too major, but i did notice.

i stayed in the beautiful double room and it was so spacious, i loved it! the bed was super comfy and i got the best night's sleep ever. breakfast was a yummy full english, so tasty. i also loved the powerful shower, it was amazing.

the tea and coffee maker in the room made drinks that were a bit weak.

The garden room apartment offered large, sliding doors that opened to a private outdoor space. I especially liked having a jacuzzi and chiminea there. The coffee machine was a nice touch. I also was happy that they could do gluten free breakfast.

I felt a little short on storage for my things, but would be great for a weekend stay.

The garden room was a bit narrow. This made it difficult to move around the bed and get to the bathroom.
