really good stay!

excellent location good cottage warm pastry

the location proves excellent, allowing simple strolls to both the town and steamer pier. the accommodation, a good cottage, offered cleanliness and included everything necessary for our stay. the saturday night takeaway truck was an excellent bonus and the warm pastries from the shop were a treat.

i noticed that there was no nearby play area for children, as the existing one required an uphill walk.

clean facilities fantastic maintenance large pitches

My stay involved the caravan site. The facilities were very clean. Maintenance of the park looked fantastic too. Large pitches made it easy to set up.

equipped cottage lake views excellent order friendly staff

the cottage was well-equipped with an outside table. views extended to the lake. everything was clean and in excellent working order (all appliances worked perfectly). staff were friendly throughout our stay.

the walk to the nearby village felt a bit long.

damp smell obstructed view

the location was fine and near enough to everything.

i had issues with the room. there was a noticeable damp smell in the "raven 4 bedroom cottage lake view dog friendly". it was also quite dusty in the corners. plus, the advertised lake view was mostly obstructed by trees, and that was a disappointment.

comfortable bed decorated bathroom friendly staff

the apartment had a comfortable bed and a newly decorated bathroom. the shower in the bathroom was excellent. all staff were friendly and helpful with information. the free wifi was adequate for general internet use.

there was no food available in the bar inside the hotel! though there were food trucks on friday and saturday.
