modern room hedgehog door local ales walking guide
The hotel had a modern room. It included a nice Hadrian Hedgehog door stop. I found a good selection of local ales available. I appreciated the included walking guide. The walk was fun.
I felt breakfast could have been better though the staff were nice enough.

rushed dinner reheated sausage
the provided bottled water was acceptable.
dinner felt rushed. i was pressured to choose an early dining time soon after arrival. breakfast felt equally hurried and the quality was not good. the toast was not toasted properly and the sausage tasted reheated.

poor toast vinegar eggs
the room was clean and well equipped, satisfactory.
Breakfast felt substandard. The toast was not properly toasted, poached eggs tasted strongly of vinegar, and the scrambled eggs appearance did not suggest freshness, it was disappointing.

large room clean room friendly staff early dinner limited breakfast dark room
The room was large and clean. it had a country pub feel that i just adored. the shower was amazing. the staff were really friendly and seemed happy at work. i even met the owner. He was just as nice.
i felt a little rushed when i arrived. i were told i needed to have dinner quite early. at the same time, i was asked about breakfast time, but they told me it's only between 7:30am and 8:30am latest. the breakfast room were in darkness when i arrived, it were quite strange.

The evening meal was a high standard with a nice selection of local ales. the hotel guide included a walk. I enjoyed it. the room was modern. It was well appointed. i liked the hadrian hedgehog door stop.
