excellent stay, great value
clean room large selection friendly staff private parking
the room was very clean. breakfast offered a large selection and was promptly served. the staff were friendly (i especially liked the quick check-in process). there was convenient private parking at the rear.
the television remote control required new batteries.

decent stay, some ISSUES
shower temperature unreliable wifi
The staff were friendly and helpful . The breakfast was also quite tasty and filling.
The room I booked, a twin room, did NOT have a bath as I had requested beforehand. This was disappointing, especially after confirming this with the hotel before arrival. The shower temperature fluctuated wildly. It went from hot to freezing without warning, quite uncomfortable. The WiFi connection was also unreliable.

frozen chips plain interior
the breakfast was really good , with table service for the hot food.
i heard good things , but i was underwhelmed. the interior was plain , even drab. my lamb curry came with frozen chips and a sliver of nan bread.

charred burger loud noise
The breakfast had good portions and it was served hot.
I ordered a burger cooked well for dinner. It arrived so charred that it was inedible. A loud banging noise occurred during the night. The noise possibly came from the heating system. I got no sleep.

cramped twin room rattling headboard
the twin room i booked felt quite cramped. it seemed better suited for one person than two. also, the shower temperature fluctuated. it would switch from hot to cold without warning, a bit of an issue, unstable water temperature. the wooden headboard also rattled. this made it hard to sleep soundly, rattling headboard
