charming stay
attentive staff excellent comfort
The staff was attentive and polite. I liked the three-course meal. the bed provided excellent comfort, assuring restful nights. i found the shower refreshing because its pressure was strong. the scottish breakfast was superb and set me up for the day.
The hotel currently has scaffolding on the front of the building. It somewhat obscures the view. it needs some improvements, like new carpeting. That should be addressed. the front step is broken. It could be a liability for some guests.

The family room offered ample space for luggage and relaxation with its comfortable seating area. a well-stocked minibar and complimentary toiletries added to the convenience. Everything felt high-quality.

onsite parking whisky bar quality produce front scaffolding broken step garden maintenance
This hotel has onsite parking. I found it quite convenient. The whisky bar features a knowledgeable barman. He provided good suggestions on whisky. Breakfast included quality produce, which I appreciated.
Scaffolding covered the front of the building. Chimneys were being repaired at the time of my visit. The front step is broken. It could be a liability. The front and back gardens seemed to need maintenance.

soft beds cute pictures good meal
My meal was very good. The beds were so soft. The chef made cute animal pictures with the breakfast pancakes.
There was no night staff present.
