the hotel rooms were spacious. beds and pillows were very comfortable for a good night's sleep. the bathroom had a nice design and the shower was good. i particularly enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant (the seasonal tasting menu was delicious!).

i noticed the hotel could use a few more comfortable seating areas in the common areas.

the thermal spa on site offered a relaxing experience, i especially loved the hot pools. it is located right next to the activities center, so it was very easy to access different tours. the hotel also provides wake-up calls when the northern lights are visible.

I found the location really good for exploring nearby glaciers. The hotel staff was helpful when the northern lights looked during dinner. They alerted us. I also appreciated the variety of hiking routes available directly from the hotel.

The gravel parking lot in front of the entrance was slightly inconvenient with luggage. Smoother surface would improve accessibility.

The cold room bothered me, and the hotel itself wasn't warmer. The restaurant menu lacked variety. I had checkout at eleven, but housekeeping bothered me early. This place feels like a 2-3 star hotel but I paid 4-5 star prices.
