The premier room offered ample space for two people plus a dog. The ensuite bathroom had good dimensions, though a walk-in shower could be preferable. The menu in the bar mirrored the restaurant, we could dine with our dog. All personnel were very friendly and helpful.

friendly staff caramel wafers guest umbrellas great comfort
the staff was very friendly and helpful! i found irn bru and tunnocks caramel wafers in my room. i also noticed umbrellas were available near the entrance. the bed provided great comfort and the room maintained cleanliness.

quiet room finishing touch guest umbrella full drawer small shower clothes issue
the rooms were in a separate building from the restaurant so they were quiet. the room had nice finishing touches like robes and toiletries. umbrellas were available at the entrance for guest use (i found this quite handy when it rained).
The dressing table drawer was full of ladies clothes. I feel someone should have checked this. the shower cubicle was small. i am 5ft 10 and i am not on the large side, still it felt small.

customer service early check taxi arrangement
the customer service was amazing. they let us check in early. they arranged a taxi so we could get to Edinburgh early. they let us have breakfast even arriving late. we were really well looked after.
the dressing table drawer had ladies clothes. someone should have checked it. the first morning the shower worked, but nothing the second morning. the shower cubicle was small.
