Excellent Stay with Great Views

excellent location excellent food quality food great service

The Grouse room provided the best view (I really enjoyed it). The location is excellent and a short distance from Derwent Reservoir. The food was of excellent quality and provided super value. Service was great throughout the evening and also at breakfast.

The bathroom looked a bit dated, with no mixer taps on the wash basin.

food variety staff response dog walking dated bathroom breakfast menu reception absence

The food selection provided ample variety. The staff responded quickly and efficiently to requests. The surrounding area had convenient facilities for dog walking.

The bathroom fixtures was quite dated , showing wear and tear. There was no menu available for breakfast , , made ordering difficult. The absence of a 24-hour reception made late check-in arrangements complicated.
