I found the hotel super clean. A real bonus was the free wine bottle deal with two large glasses before 7 pm. Dinner had excellent value with the fixed price option. My room was very clean it was a beautiful room and comfy. I recommend it highly!
The spaces in the underground car park are a little tight and i didnt like it.

Average Stay Due to Ventilation Issues

The window in my room faced the inner courtyard and was sealed shut. It was a very warm day, and the air conditioning wasn't working correctly. The room felt stifling with no airflow. I reported this issue twice to the front desk but only received a very noisy fan. It seems an engineer should have checked the air system, but the man who came with the fan didn't seem to know what he was doing. A customer service training would be good here.

the villa maria room was very well appointed with good temperature control. breakfast was delicious with a wide menu choice. all staff were very helpful and friendly.
i was not warned that major refurbishment work was being done. there was no lift, and i struggled with stairs. the room was also very small with a view across an unkept graveyard.
