treasured moments

careful detail fine space

the hotel itself is amazing with every detail carefully considered, from the decor to the service. i could spend days exploring just the food and drink offerings. every corner of the space was visually fine and impeccably maintained. it reminded me of a five-star escape in every sense.

it wasn't possible to book a spa day-pass in advance. i asked both by phone and in person but staff could only say it 'depends on the day'. this created stress even though it worked out fine in the end.

there are endless dining options. bars inside the hotel each has its unique atmosphere. the menus are varied and appealing. i found something new and delicious each time.

the king room large was beautiful and very comfortable. the bathroom features luxurious fixtures. everything one could need is provided. the room provided a welcome retreat after a day exploring.

The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom included lovely Cowshed products. I found the overall atmosphere inviting and relaxing.

There is a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars. The Italian restaurant served lovely food and provided great service. I had access to a variety of different cuisine options .

The gym had a good selection of equipment. The pool area includes about twenty loungers and a shaded area for relaxation. Public transportation to the airport and shops was easily accessible from the hotel.

Really good Hotel Experience

building preservation high standards range of bars thoughtful touch

The building's preservation is excellent, a true celebration of its history. Staff members displayed passion for their environment, maintaining high standards. I appreciated the extensive range of bars and restaurants within the hotel. I found several toiletries available in the room (a thoughtful touch!).

I found the water in the room was subject to an extra charge.

tv casting feature broken switch

the room was beautiful and the shower pressure was great. i liked the cowshed products provided.

The tv casting feature in the room didn't work. also, a couple of bedside switches were broken. We had to unplug the lamps to turn them off. there wasn't a proper table for us to eat at. so, we used trays on the sofa.

a tad underwhelming

small room high prices

the location was alright, i suppose.

The room they gave me, a 'king room medium', was small. it felt cramped for what i paid, and the layout was awkward. the minibar prices were a joke. I saw water that cost more than wine at the local shop.

A Truly Lively Stay

lovely vibe clean room fantastic restaurant

The selection of restaurants inside is fantastic. I especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant. The hotel has a very lovely vibe in the evenings. It is special. Our room was comfortable and clean.

mixed feelings about this stay

broken switches sauna announcement

The tv casting did not function. a couple of bedside switches were broken. We had to unplug the lamps. there wasn't a proper table for two to eat at. We ended up using trays on the sofa. the spa staff entered the sauna without knocking to announce closing soon.
