i was blown away by the hotel. the receptionist was so friendly i loved that. our beautiful double room was spacious. it had nice views over the lawn

i found the stair carpet coming away that was a problem. the hotel itself looked a bit tired i think. the radiator was on fully it was a warm evening. i was unable to turn it off that bothered me.

our wedding at the hotel was fantastic. visitors from abroad could stay on-site, simplifying arrangements. the pre-wedding meal and post-wedding breakfast were handled well. staff addressed special food and wine requests without any issues. welcome drinks and canapés were served on the lawn, a lovely setting.

i noticed that the hotel could benefit from slight modernisation in some areas.

the grounds were nice for a walk.

I was disappointed with the building because it looked neglected. Paint was flaking off window frames. garden furniture was broken and dirty, and i noticed stains on the carpets. the bathroom seemed modern, but the tiles really needed a good clean.
