Riverside Stay

easy accessriverside viewuneven floor
I found the location excellent with easy access to local attractions. The room had a nice little balcony overlooking the river (I really enjoyed the view). I liked that staff assisted with finding a takeaway and provided plates when the kitchen was closed.
The floor in my room felt uneven and wasn't comfortable to walk on. The hard pillows also made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. I think providing softer pillow options would improve the stay.

The Beautiful Double Room featured a small balcony with river views. The bathroom had fresh towels, soap and shampoo. The bed size was adequate.
Location
9/10
The hotel's location provides convenient access to nearby areas. Runnymede, where the Magna Carta began, is only a short walk away. The hotel is also within walking distance of the train station.
Service
10/10
The staff were helpful in assisting with after-hours food arrangements. They provided plates and cutlery for the takeaway meal. I noted the staff were generally cute.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast included a variety of options. A full English breakfast was prepared even though I arrived late (it was very tasty!). The pub and restaurant has indoor tables with river views.

Acceptable Stay with Issues

small roombed dip
The room I had was quite small. I also found some hair in the shower (unacceptable!). The bed was also a problem. It dipped noticeably in the middle. Bar prices felt inflated, it's annoying.

Amazing Riverside Stay!

clean roomgreat breakfasthelpful employeeslovely views
The room was larger than expected. It was clean and well-stocked with water. A coffee and tea setting was available. The breakfast offered a great selection from the continental spread and table service. I also enjoyed the pub. The employees were kind and helpful. I really enjoyed the outside views, spending a few hours with a glass of wine.
The floor in my room wasn't level, making it a bit uncomfortable to walk around, and the pillows felt quite hard.

the location is superb, i think. the historical building is amazing. the staff were very helpful, and the room details were upscale and boutique. i were grateful we got a meal just before closing time as i were starving after a long day of travel.
the hotel appear old and quirky. the floor in my room were uneven and uncomfortable to walk on. the pillows were too hard for me to use. parking wasn't available, and i think the hotel could benefit from offering it.
