the breakfast was tasty with several options to choose from including pastries and a full english.

i was initially pleased with my 'superior king room', but it had several issues the tv remote didn't work and i spent ages trying to get it fixed without success i think the batteries were dead the mini fridge was also warm it wasn't cooling anything i requested a replacement but nothing happened it made the room feel less luxurious than advertised.

The morning staff seemed quite disorganized. I initially mistook them for other visitors due to their casual attire. This was a stark contrast compared to the evening staff. During breakfast, they forgot several items and made errors with our orders and the table next to us. Also the rooms are minimal.. I was hoping for a little more. The prices seemed high considering what was provided.

The staff cares about my stay! i can tell that they went the extra mile. the dinner, room and breakfast WAS amazing! outside at night was magical. I was surrounded by sheep. i had such an amazing break as a couple.

my starter WASN'T fantastic, to be honest. there were very few pieces of beetroot. also, there were three or four whipped blobs of goats cheese.

the views from my room of the south downs were just fine. the food in the restaurant tasted amazing i liked the service. the staff were very friendly and nice they went the extra mile to.

the wifi signal in my room was weak at times.

the hotel is immediately next to the south downs. a footpath starts directly from the hotel grounds. this made exploring the area very convenient and enjoyable for walking to get into nature.

my superior king room had a fresh look and feel. i liked having a nespresso machine with good tea bags. the bed was comfortable and had good quality bedding for a restful night sleep.

I found the location very peaceful. The building included a great little restaurant. It also had an outdoor area with fire pits. The view overlooks the Southdowns.

The coffee from the automattic machine was not very good.
