Josh greeted me upon arrival and transported my luggage to my bedroom. I occupied the Black Harry suite. It featured a comfortable bed. The bathroom included ample shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. Staff were friendly and efficient.

The carpet in the corridor to my room had some stains.

The beautiful double room was nicely presented, and the bed was COMFORTABLE. Staff were attentive. The shower provided a good experience in a nice-sized bathroom. The food, both evening meals and breakfast, was very good, being well-cooked and nicely presented.

The menu experienced a slight shortage of some items.

warm welcome furnished room

the staff gave a warm welcome. the room was clean and nicely furnished, a true highlight. dinner was excellent, especially the best steak pie i had ever eaten. breakfast was also excellent.

the carpark made it quite a struggle to get in and out, and parking was very limited with cars often blocked in. the shower had temperamental water flow, that gave either very hot or very cold streams.

the breakfast menu included several hot options cooked to order, a good start to the day. the restaurant served locally sourced produce, which i thought was a really nice touch. vegetarian options featured prominently on each menu.
