the staff was friendly. i liked that everything i needed was available.
Upon arrival, i found the room layout odd. Moving around was awkward. the bed was positioned in a corner, difficult to access. also, the bedside table was only on one side. this was not what i expected for the price i paid.

the room had everything for my one night stay, acceptable.
On arrival, i found out the kitchen was closed. This wasn't very helpful as i was hoping for a meal. it definitely impacted my initial impression.
the room was clean and the bedding felt great. i liked the nice location and the friendly manager was a bonus.
the kitchen closed early when i arrived and it wasn't helpful. the breakfast included was continental only and full english cost extra.

The village pub had such a friendly atmosphere. the room include modern decor and the bathroom looked really good. i slept very well because the bed was comfortable. breakfast was really tasty with good local produce. The sausages, oh my god!
