the staff were attentive to all requests, even last-minute ones. i found the bedroom very clean and also warm. i noticed facilities available in the room included good amenities and a modern tv.
the shower water pressure left much to be desired, it was barely a dribble.

the beer was a little expensive, at least 6 pounds a pint.

i was impressed by the room. The hotel generally met my expectations. The breakfast had large portions. The staff were friendly and helpful. I found the location convenient for my needs. The hotel is very dog friendly, which i value. The sound proofing is very good given the proximity of the a1.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. i had a large, clean room. it was surprisingly quiet despite the nearby a1.
my room was too hot because the main radiator was always on. i was told i couldn't turn it off as all the rooms were controlled by the hotel on a timer. it stayed red hot all evening, and i woke up sweating because it had come back on at 6 o'clock.

the staff were friendly and helpful. the food in the bar was tasty. i enjoyed a steak and ale pie with mash, it seemed locally made. the location right off the a1 was very convenient for my journey.
my room overlooked some stored furniture and gave an unloved impression. there was no way to control the radiator in my room. i found the temperature uncomfortably hot , i woke up sweating.
