Historic Charm and Great Service

The courtyard duplex offered a welcome tray of wine, chocolates, and artisan crisps. Sparkling and still water were available, with a Nespresso machine and capsules. The room also had a kettle, teas, coffees, hot chocolate, milk, and biscuits. All were replenished after one night. Staff ensured our room was well ventilated and provided a fan, important because the original inn lacks air conditioning..
I found that the mattress was lumpy. It was not very comfortable, detracting slightly from an otherwise excellent experience.
