A total winner!

friendly staff great room size clean bathroom amazing garden

The staff rocks! They were super cute. The room was a great size. I also noticed the bathroom was super clean with plenty of fresh towels. The pub garden looked amazing with flowers, it really made my day. The bar even offers a great selection of drinks.

The tv signal did drop out a couple times.

Rooms

9/10

The room included bottled water, tea, coffee, and even biscuits. I saw fresh, clean towels in the super clean bathroom too. The room felt very secure.

Dining

8/10

The breakfast offered a large, tasty cooked option. The pub food tasted excellent. I saw many football games streaming in the bar area at a nice volume.

Location

10/10

Parking felt very easy. Bowling, the cinema, and shops were close by. I noticed the location was perfect close to where I need to be for my work.

Acceptable Stay, but Lacking in Some Areas

blocked shower loose toilet seat

The parking area was quite good.

I found the shower blocked. It took a very long time for water to drain. the toilet seat felt loose. This made using the facilities less comfortable. The staff did not bother with breakfast, claiming not enough guests stayed. That was a major letdown.

Surprising gem

ironing board thai food car parking

my room included an ironing board and trouser press, which i thought was very thoughtful. the thai food at the pub was a delight, with a good variety of curries. ample car parking was available, and I always found a space.

solid stay near the pub

great pressure warm room easy access

the shower had great pressure. my room was warm and clean. i found access and parking easy. the welcome i received felt nice.

the bed felt a little too soft. i think my room is dated. it requires some updating.

Dining

9/10

the hotel offered a large cooked breakfast. it tasted very good. i would have liked to see a simple continental option available. cereal and toast would be a good addition.

Facilities

8/10

the rooms are in a separate block. this is away from the pub. it makes sleeping very quiet! i liked the comfortable bed. also the clean facilities.
