decent stay overall

fantastic locationpicturesque viewelegant decorloud noisepoor communicationlong email
the location was fantastic. it was peaceful and picturesque. the hotel had elegant surroundings. decor was quality and the hall was set in beautiful gardens and countryside. i also liked the fact there were patio doors for easy access.
My experience fell short of expectations. a festive party was hosted at the hotel . my room was situated directly above the event, and the noise was so loud i couldn't sleep. the communication around this event was poor. The critical information was buried in an overly long email.

Service Issues Detracted from the Experience

nice settingunhelpful staffcheckout pressure
The location provides a nice setting for an event.
I found the staff to be quite unhelpful. During checkout, I was pressured to leave the room immediately even though I was waiting for someone. I found that unacceptable. I will not consider staying here again.
