i found the location excellent, set amidst scenic countryside near a flowing river. the beer garden was a highlight, offering ample space by the river. breakfasts featured homemade bread, a true delight. i really liked the ample parking available, a big plus with cars and trailers (it simplified my arrival).

the bathroom in my room was rather small, made moving around a little difficult.

My room was nice and neat. The hotel setting provided good footpaths for walking. I found a good sized beer garden by the river. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. Staff members were friendly and helpful .

I noticed a few historic splashes on the paintwork in the room. they were quite minor.

The pub had rustically decorated rooms, and I thought it was quirky. The food seemed home cooked. I know they make their own bread and pies in their own bakery. The pub has its own brewery and the beers are excellent I'm sure.

The bedside lamp in my room didn't work. It was quite a bother.

the staff was super friendly. service was great, and i liked the nice food. a decent breakfast was included. they offered breakfast even though i slept in. the location is pretty, right in front of green hills, nearby a river.

the room could use some updating. the furnishings and paintwork had some wear.
