superb grounds and really good service

the atmosphere was superb , and the hotel was beautiful. the rooms provided a strong shower with adjustable height. breakfast was delicious , and the restaurant provided a nice dinner experience. the staff were warm and cute , and this transcended the whole experience.
i booked a garden room expecting a garden view , but i did not have one. also, there was no fridge, so fresh milk was not available.

the hotel enjoys a lovely location in an idyllic , quiet area. its proximity to chatsworth house allowed an easy visit. a short walk plus a brief bus ride made reaching chatsworth house convenient.

The staff provided very nice service. They were very attentive. The food was also fantastic. It showed innovation. I found the surroundings beautiful and well kept. I appreciated the location. It offered a quiet retreat.
The breakfast offered a somewhat limited choice compared to other hotels of similar standard. Pastries or croissants were not available.

The hotel grounds were beautiful. I adored walking around. the decorations were amazing throughout the room. The bed linen was crisp, such a nice touch. breakfast was excellent. it made the start of the day so wonderful.
I felt something was missing. my husband mentioned my birthday but there was no acknowledgement. i had gluten-free biscuits left in the room. No fresh milk was available as there was no fridge.

Wonderful Getaway in Peak District

The hotel is in a prime location with really good gardens. Staff are friendly and competent. The food was so excellent it meets top London restaurant standards. The building and setting are superb with spacious, comfy, and cosy rooms.
The hotel does not provide a mini fridge in the room. Bulk toiletries in the bathroom detract from the room's overall quality. The breakfast was stingy and uninspiring. The coffee came in small cups.

Breakfast was excellent, with individual choices available and great service from the staff. Dinner also reached Michelin star standards, I am very happy to report. The chef prepares magic.

the hotel building has amazing windows. the staircase give an old feel to the hotel and the gardens are well maintained. the room's decorations are beautiful, and the crisp bed linen was a pleasure.
the bulk toiletries did cheapen the room a bit.
