the location was acceptable and convenient for moving around.
the room seemed dated, and the shower leaked BAdly. i also found the parking fee of £55 excessive, ESPECIALLY since it was just a public lot that cost less than what the hotel charged. it was like they were exploiting guests, which i found annoying.

i found the hotel staff very accommodating and helpful. the doorman and porter were particularly good. daniel gave helpful advice about places to visit. his recommendations were spot on.
the walls seemed thin. i could hear babies and children crying and playing next door. this reduced my comfort and relaxation. there were very few tv channels. i was surprised there was no cnn.
