the comfy room i had was a nice size! a work table was available, and soft music played when i arrived. there were chocolates as a welcome gift! the heater worked very well. the bedding felt luxurious, and i got eight hours of sleep. the bathroom had a walk-in shower, plenty of hot water, and a 'no-slip' mat. towels were large and fluffy.

Breakfast was a bit confusing. It was unclear what egg options were available. also toast was something one has to ask for and not served automatically.

the hotel is on the high street. this gave me good access to shops, though i was not there for leisure. the two main train stations are a fifteen-minute walk. a public car park sits across the road.
