The room was much larger than I expected. A pleasant surprise indeed. The bathroom was lovely and clean too.

The lack of staff became glaringly obvious, especially when waiting an eternity for drinks. One poor guy was running around, trying to take all the drink orders. It was a bit of a shambles.

i felt let down by a few things . the room i booked, a superior double room, seemed a bit worn. some of the furniture looked like it needed updating and showed signs of wear and tear. i also found the spa area rather crowded, difficult to unwind. there was also a hourly charge per person to use the spa and a waiver form needed to be signed before i could use the gym. it felt a bit less relaxing than i hoped.

i had a recent spa package. the facilities were great. spa treatments was amazing, the restaurant food was first class and i also had afternoon tea which was lovely.

the changing rooms had an empty conditioner bottle, i could not use anything about it once in the shower.

the hotel is surrounded by tranquil, beautiful grounds. the room was well-appointed and relaxing. the bed was comfortable. staff were polite and very cute, they were always ready to help.

The air conditioning in my room did not work, so it got quite hot. I could not open the window.
