We enjoyed a superb afternoon tea. it included wine to celebrate a special birthday. tom provided super service. I appreciated that a lot. the view from the restaurant over the garden was amazing!!!
The room felt cold upon my arrival. a window was open, i found that odd. there was a crack in the tile in front of the toilet. It felt dangerous. the carpet was grubby. The skirting boards as well.

Acceptable Stay , but Some Issues Noted

My stay had a few problems. The bathroom floor was not properly cleaned , with cotton wool and hair left behind. I told reception , and they cleaned it while I had dinner. Also , the hotel showed signs of wear , like broken radiator covers. This made the place look a bit tired.

The room i paid for felt quite outdated. There were dusty stains on the carpet, and the bed base wasn't clean! plug sockets were oddly placed, far from any mirrors, made getting ready difficult. the hospitality tray was also subpar, lacking variety. honestly, for the price, i expected much better. It seemed like they overlooked important details.

The room's shower had inconsistent temperature. Maintenance seemed lacking. I noticed peeling paint in the bathroom and hallway. These details detracted from what could have been a more polished experience.
