I found the sunday lunch in the kitchen restaurant good. the room was beautifully decorated for christmas. it felt warm and comfortable. the food was delicious, served hot and plentiful. Desserts showed artistic flair and rich flavor.
the rear car park had insufficient signs. it made parking and finding the entrance to reception a bit confusing.

The restaurant provides excellent food with great flavour profiles. I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. i found the beer selection very good. the breakfast service operates efficiently. The staff remains friendly and helpful.

My room included a large television and coffee making facilities. it was super clean and had all the essentials. i appreciated the shower. It was great. the room furnishings showed great taste.

The hotel provides a lovely location in a quaint village. the location is east to access just off the a1. the hotel is near the historic town of stamford and burghley house. Both are worth visiting.

our wedding in august 2025 felt effortless. every detail seemed to fall into place. we had a fine three course wedding breakfast. it adapted easily to all dietary needs.
The attitude of some staff was disappointing. A follow up email about our concerns was never received after three weeks.
