lovely seaside retreat

excellent locationfree parkingsea viewfriendly attendant

the location is great. a short walk takes you straight to the beach, ideal for morning strolls. i particularly enjoyed the free parking (such a relief!) with a very friendly attendant who always offered a smile. my room provided a amazing view directly over the beach and sea, especially fine in the mornings.

the bar was closed until after 5pm, a slight inconvenience for an afternoon drink.

all the staff were polite and very informative across all departments. breakfast on the second morning was piping hot and very tasty, showcasing quality ingredients. i ate in the restaurant one night and the food was delicious (the fish was particularly good!).

the room looked tired. i saw cracking wallpaper and flaking paint. also, the bathroom toiletries were bolted to the walls, an inconvenience when trying to relax in the bath.

The location was great, it was very close to the beach. Very peaceful and quiet! there were places close by for food and drink. i had a sea view from my window, it was a perfect spot to watch the sun go down.

i would not return to this hotel, it was very expensive and not worth what i paid! the rooms are very dated, with stains on the carpets, though peeling wallpaper was obvious in places.
