The hotel's location was really central. It made sightseeing and shopping very easy. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The outdoor courtyard was a nice spot to relax with a drink.
My dog friendly room with a balcony had some issues. There was a pronounced vibration noise in the room from a duct on the outside wall. The balcony didn't look clean and its metal wire seats were uncomfortable. There were no cushions available.

The location is excellent. It allows a very quick walk to the theatre but is not on the main touristy streets, so it remains quiet. Rooms are comfortable and stylishly decorated (I found the decor to be quite excellent). All the staff I met were very helpful.
I found the building interior a little tired. There were small stains on the carpets on the stairs and landing. I also observed lots of chipped paint and scuffs on woodwork. (It gives the feel of somewhere that is maintained only when it has to be).
