the room was clean , and i really loved that. the bathroom was stocked with nice toiletries , a very nice touch. i found the location was so central , , made exploring easy.
the building's interior feels a bit tired , i noted small stains on the carpets of the stairs. chipped paint and scuffs marked the woodwork , i also spotted that. the evening menu seemed quite boring , i think a lighter option would really help.

bathroom film warm mini-fridge
the location was convenient for getting around, i suppose.
The bathroom mirror had this weird film on it, cleaning clearly isn't their strong suit. also, the mini-fridge was warm. My drinks did not stay cold at all, annoying and wasteful.

Acceptable Hotel Experience

central location helpful staff outdoor courtyard vibration noise unclean balcony metal seat
The hotel's location was really central. It made sightseeing and shopping very easy. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The outdoor courtyard was a nice spot to relax with a drink.
My dog friendly room with a balcony had some issues. There was a pronounced vibration noise in the room from a duct on the outside wall. The balcony didn't look clean and its metal wire seats were uncomfortable. There were no cushions available.

excellent location stylish decoration helpful staff tired interior carpet stain chipped paint
The location is excellent. It allows a very quick walk to the theatre but is not on the main touristy streets, so it remains quiet. Rooms are comfortable and stylishly decorated (I found the decor to be quite excellent). All the staff I met were very helpful.
I found the building interior a little tired. There were small stains on the carpets on the stairs and landing. I also observed lots of chipped paint and scuffs on woodwork. (It gives the feel of somewhere that is maintained only when it has to be).
