limited spread salty bread
This stay fell short of expectations for such a place. The breakfast selection was not good. Hot food was alright, but the spread was very limited. I found the bread choice strangely salty and the eggs were overdone. The vinyl on the bed in my room was peeling, I found this frustrating.

Really good Stay at a Fine Location
excellent service helpful concierge
The location offered amazing views of the nearby water facility. The staff provided excellent service from arrival, including a lovely concierge in Scottish dress. The spa and wellness centre were excellent (I especially enjoyed the sauna). The concierge was helpful. He showed us all the hotel's amenities.
The restaurant lacked a bit of atmosphere, in my opinion.

I found the food to be tasty. Breakfast had plenty to choose from. I especially liked the fact that the breakfast included many options to suit every taste.

The hotel boasts a warm swimming pool, multiple hot tubs, a steam room, and a sauna, all maintained to a high standard. The Sandemans restaurant is cosy and luxurious (a great place for dinner!). The 1892 restaurant features views of the river.

lovely highland retreat
warm greeting tomahawk steak great breakfast outdoor hot tubs
The staff greeted us warmly. the dining experience included superb food. I particularly enjoyed the tomahawk steak. the breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!). the spa was enjoyable. I spent a lot of time in the outdoor hot tubs.
i noticed a slightly rusty tile near the pool (it was very minor, though).

the room had a large tv and nespresso coffee maker. an umbrella was provided in the room (which was very useful!).
