attentive staff super toiletries prime location

the staff was lovely and attentive. my room had super toiletries, i liked that very much. the location are prime, just five minutes from the station i noticed.

the bar being closed for a private event proved somewhat inconvenient.

friendly service beautiful setting busy evening

Sarah and robyn in the spence bar offered quick, efficient, and very friendly service. I especially noticed this care. the xmas decorations in the entrance created a beautiful setting. I felt all the magic!!! i want to call ahead to reserve a booth next time because it was quite busy .

my master room had only a single sink, which i found unusual given the room's size.

The master room featured luxury bed linen and comfortable beds. I melted into them. the decor felt high-standard and clean. Everything felt so fresh and new. the room included thoughtful touches to elevate the stay.

Really good Amenities and Service

beautiful building great restaurant helpful staff

My room included a beautiful slipper bath. I found it very relaxing. The Lamplighters staff offered great service. I liked the location, very close to Harvey Nichols. The hotel entrance was beautifully decorated for the holiday season.

I did find the furniture for couples in the bar area somewhat uncomfortable. It was not what I would expect in a hotel of this standard. This impacted the overall experience slightly.

The hotel is in a very good location. This location provides easy access to Princes Street Gardens. Waverley Station is close enough. No transport is needed to get to key sights.

lovely townhouse stay

thoughtful planning reasonable price captivating history delicious offering

the staff at the townhouse are wonderful, similar to the service i experienced at gleneagles.. every detail seems thoughtfully planned to enhance the stay. i found the food fabulous and the mini bar prices reasonable. the building's history is captivating, and the entire hotel is immaculate. i particularly enjoyed the spence restaurant for its delicious offerings.

I found only one minor inconvenience. The bathroom amenities were placed in the bedroom, a slightly unusual arrangement.
