I LOVED the free ev charging. The parking was easy, with plenty of spaces available for everyone. The building was steeped in history, I was like I was staying in a castle! MY room was really quiet, I slept SO well.
The room was so dark. I had a HUGE problem doing my makeup.

The hotel has expansive grounds perfect for evening strolls. A visitor center offers some insight. Car parking is plentiful and easily accessible for all guests wanting to drive to nearby places.

The staff were helpful and keen to assist with all requests. Check-in and check-out were amazingly swift, which I enjoyed. I could not have expected more from the staff, they were very attentive and quick.

the grounds offered beautiful walks with views of the abbey. i appreciated the spacious rooms. the food was also good, especially the buffet style breakfast.
i noticed that the carpets need replacing. artificial smells throughout the hotel seemed to mask musty odours. it reminded me of a poorly themed hotel, lacking attention to details

the presentation throughout is excellent. breakfast was lovely, and items all fresh.
For dinner, i experienced very slow service with my food arriving about 50 minutes after ordering. i had to inquire about the delay at least twice. The explanations seemed unconvincing. after the meal, the staff did not offer dessert and seemed to avoid eye contact, perhaps due to embarrassment.
