Acceptable stay, but heating issues and noise intrusion

inadequate heating generator noise
The location is convenient for exploring the town center.
The heating was inadequate during a cold spell. Reception informed me that it operates only for limited hours, which I found unacceptable. I was also disturbed by generator noise the next morning. It woke me up early. I found this interruption of sleep to be poor, because it ruined our celebration.

the room was super clean. i had a fridge stocked with bottled water , tea , and coffee. the location was excellent , only a short walk into the town center.

the breakfast was acceptable, with a good selection of food.
The air con in my room was nonexistent. It was cooler in the corridor. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was permanently on, annoying. I found only one chair in the room for two people.

a lovely experience

helpful staff modern bathroom comfortable bed efficient service
The staff walked me to the bus station after my taxi didn't show. They even carried my luggage! the bathroom was modern and clean, which i appreciated. the bed provided a comfortable night's sleep. room service was good. It was prompt and efficient.
i noticed some areas could use a little refreshing, though it didn't detract significantly from my stay.

the restaurant staff showed kindness and professionalism during a difficult situation, a testament to their dedication to guest satisfaction. ben in particular was super helpful, especially regarding various dietary requirements, which i appreciated. the food was AMAZING!!!

Jack at reception was quite helpful.. He knew the hotel's history. The building has beautiful decor. Our room was large and warm. we appreciated the toiletries and soft drinks. On-site parking was available.
The mini bar was a nice touch. Bathrobes were missing too. I found the bathroom layout not very functional. The toilet was right next to the door.
