Excellent Stay with River Views

The location provided fine views of the River Severn and gardens. The room was spacious, with a very large bed. I appreciated the fresh milk provided by the bar for drinks in the room. The staff were helpful and friendly during both breakfast and evening meals.

Breakfast service had an extensive choice of food and the staff members were attentive. The team provided excellent service, especially Lesley and Louise. Their contributions were notable.

The initial welcome i received wasn't exactly glowing. Felt more like a rapid-fire data dump than a friendly greeting. then, the restaurant experience wasn't much better. the food was seriously underwhelming and it took forever for our mains to arrive. i'm pretty sure i could've grown my own ingredients faster. breakfast wasn't stellar either. The food was subpar and the service wasn't exactly sunshine and rainbows.

the staff are very helpfull and efficient, i must say. food was also very good. location where hotel is, is excellent with fine views down the river and great outside seating to. they have it all here.

superior double room are not so superior, its lost its touch, to many issues. main room window wasnt working so i could not open it to keep humidity down even with a fan. had to keep entrance door open to get air in the room. bathroom window wasnt opaqued so no privacy when using toilet, had to keep blind down.

The location proved convenient for my travel plans.

The room I had was not up to par. The window would not open, there was no fresh air. the lighting above the vanity was broken, so doing anything at the mirror was unnecessarily difficult..
