the location was quite convenient. it was only a short drive to the town center. the pool was a good size (i appreciated the availability of loungers). breakfast was also good with a decent variety of options.

the hotel seemed a little tired (especially the paintwork on the doors). my room setup was not ideal. it included a double bed and a pull-out sofa (not the most comfortable option). the bathroom showed signs of rust around the fixtures.

The breakfast service felt disorganized on most mornings. Many items ran out quickly. Staff were slow to replenish the buffet. IT'S also worth noting that the noise from other guests could easily be heard through the thin walls late at night. This. A bit more soundproofing would have made a big difference.

I found the breakfast to be of excellent value. The staff were quite helpful. I also appreciated the lovely food .

The lighting to drive onto the grounds was not ideal so I missed it and had to turn around.

The shower pressure was, shall we say, underwhelming, given the hotel's supposed grandeur. I nearly had to resort to using a water pistol. To get properly clean and the minibar was a joke. It contained only water. Not even a dodgy chocolate bar to tempt me. I thought hotels were supposed to offer some overpriced treats.

EXCELLENT Easter getaway!

My partner and I stayed over the Easter holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a GREAT welcome. The facilities suited all our needs, and the rooms were gorgeous and clean.

The hotel lacked a fridge in the room. This was a BIG inconvenience. During a particularly hot week, this made keeping drinks cold difficult. My medication needed refrigeration also.
