a fairly pleasant experience

ample parking efficient welcome excellent breakfast made up room charging station ev tired bathroom needed refresh
the welcome was friendly and efficient. there was ample parking and staff to park the car if i wished (a nice touch). breakfast was excellent, and the room was always made up once i returned from it.
i think they might invest in a couple more charging stations. the numbers of plug-in hybrids and evs will only increase. the bathroom looked a little tired and needed a refresh.

Acceptable Stay

ample parking beautiful grounds electric heaters service charge
The room was large. It was a superior double room. The grounds are beautiful. I liked that there was ample parking.
The radiator wasn't working in my room. I received electric heaters to compensate. I think that is NOT very high end. I was surprised that the service charge was added to the bill. I was charged for crisps after ordering two cocktails.

the grounds were amazing, with beautiful gardens all around the hotel.
The food was a letdown. It tasted like pre-packaged microwave meals, and i found it excessively salty. the breakfast was basic and underwhelming. i expected better quality (for the price point, naturally).
