John greeted me upon arrival, took my bag, and offered chilled wine. i received an upgrade to a beautiful, quiet suite. the room included a coffee machine, many coffee pods, and a workspace. Bedding was ironed and white.

the minibar prices seemed slightly high , particularly for water.

We chose the winter escape package to celebrate my wife's birthday. we had only visited once many years ago for lunch. our stay was lovely, the hotel is very smart, elegant, and stylish. as part of the package, we visited the spa and enjoyed the pool, sauna and steam room. It was peaceful. the sommelier helped us to choose wine, and the food was of a very high standard, beautifully presented, also service was excellent.

the minibar prices were a little steep (i understand this is typical of hotels).
