mixed feelings about my stay
helpful staffhard potatoesbusy road
the staff were really friendly and helpful, that's a plus.
The food, though, was pretty underwhelming. my roast potatoes were so hard i couldn't even cut them with a knife, seriously? and the room faced a very busy road. Sleeping with the window open reminded me of i was camping on the highway, and there was no air conditioning.

The roast potatoes were inedible. i mean, seriously, i couldn't even cut them. They were that bad. the room itself was fine, but the noise from the road was a bit much. i swear, it reminded me of the cars were practically parked in my room.

I loved that the rooms are away from the pub. I had so much privacy. the rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and just lush. i especially liked the quirky selection of teas, coffee, and biscuits. Such a thoughtful touch. i have stayed at this hotel many times and i definitely will again.
